The Sugar Land Mediterranean Festival is the first of what we hope will be an annual event, and with almost eleven acres of land at our disposal, we are sure we can expand as quickly as our city! With music, a wide variety of Mediterranean food, children's play area, dancing, and music, we hope the festival will prove to be a place for family fun and entertainment for many years to come.

When we first arrived in Sugar Land, The Forty Holy Martyrs of Sebaste Orthodox Christian Mission was welcomed with open arms by its friends and neighbors in Eldridge Road. We were a small, homeless community and we were offered friendship and a place to call home during the construction of our new home. Now we want to say a big "Thank You!" and welcome everyone to our home to introduce ourselves and to try to give back to our community.

The festival will try to support as many local charities as possible. This year, our main partner will be the Literacy Council of Fort Bend. The LCFBC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1987. Its primary programs and services include: One-on-one Basic Literacy training for adults needing help with reading, writing, and basic computation; small group instruction for English as a Second Language (ESL), and GED classes focusing on preparing students to pass the GED test. We will work together to try to make this event as much fun and enjoyable as possible!

From us all.... Welcome to the first Sugar land Mediterranean Festival!
